QuieTea, the Wilden.herbals Health herbal tea that promotes calm against stress and anxiety

Say hello to Health: let's dive into our new project and discover how we created QuieTea, the herbal tea against stress and anxiety

The Health line is the latest projectsigned Wilden.herbals. It debuted in February 2023 with 4 functional herbal teas designed to the treatment of specific needs:

  • QuieTea, to promote calm in times of stress
  • PreCycle,  to counteract PMS symptoms
  • CisTea, to relieve the symptoms of urinary tract infections
  • NaTeavity, to help increase breast milk supply

The Wilden.herbals Health line is just the beginning of a journey. The Wilden team wants to create new products and a new way of feeling health and well-being. The key is the one and the same of the Remedia line: a careful selection of herbs that enhance the value, taste, and traditional culture of medicinal plants.

In this article, we will tell you how we made the Health line and more specifically we’ll dive into QuieTea, the herbal tea against stress and anxiety. If you want to know more about the creation phases of the Health line, read the whole detailed story here.

How our new line of organic herbal teas come to be

The Wilden.herbals Health line draws inspiration from various ways cultures have approached nature to create new products that promote health and help restore balance. What sees the light today has experienced a crucial phase of study of over 120 plants, research, experimentation and development lasting a year (although in Nicola Robecchi’s mind, the founder of Wilden.herbals, it was something already present since the inception of Wilden.herbals).

There were many figures involved: doctors, chefs, pharmacists and herbalists who helped shape the product and balance aromas and flavors to create a pleasurable taste experience. The recipes we have formulated all have a scientific background and are based on medicinal studies, faithfully reflecting the use of plants in traditional culture. To check the efficiency and safety of plants, we have relied on sources such as the World Health Organization, Kommission E and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

Last but not least: we have worked closely with consumers, involved in various focus groups for each recipe, but in the end leaving the last word to healthcare specialists.

QuieTea, la tisana Wilden.herbals Health che favorisce la calma contro stress e ansia

Our concept of health and our approach to stress and anxiety

Our beacon throughout the design phases was the awareness of how nature and health are connected: which is why we adopt a fluid definition of health. As claimed by the WHO, is a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Health is the result of positive physical experiences and a good emotional balance but it is also a relational concept: it means adopting a healthy social routine and building relationships.

For this reason, when we started thinking about QuieTea, and therefore about an herbal tea to promote calm in times of stress or anxiety, we thought carefully about the meaning of anxiety eand what message that word carried. We have therefore tried not to consider it as a problem or a disease, but rather establish a different relationship by promoting a positive experience and, at the same time, aimed at promoting cognitive functions and mental well-being.

Our goal is to propose a healthy and balanced approach to life that focuses on natural cycles in synergy with earth and medicinal plants, their properties and positive effects on the mind and body.

QuieTea, the herbal tea against anxiety and stress: who it is for, how it works, how and when to drink it

QuieTea is not dedicated to one type of person, but to all those who, when navigate their daily routine, encounter moments of anxiety and are looking for a more conscious and relaxed approach. QuieTea helps promote mental well-being thanks to the properties of chamomile and hawthorn. Rhodiola’s adaptogenic properties help balance mood and combat physical and mental fatigue – without inducing drowsiness.

It is an herbal tea that you can drink at any time of the day but especially during exam sessions, if you face stressful situations, or if you have an important meeting scheduled and you want a natural support that makes your body and mind respond better. A relaxing experience is guaranteed.

The best way to consume it is to leave 1 bag to infuse for 7-9 minutes in 300-500 ml of water at 95°. We recommend limiting the consumption to 2 bags a day: QuieTea is a food supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

QuieTea, the herbal tea against anxiety and stress: the ingredients and plants we have chosen

Inside QuieTea you will find these medicinal plants (below we also indicate the herbal tea section):

  • Sweet Orange (Citrus × sinensis) – Peel Cut
  • Rhodiola Rosea (Sedum roseum (L.) Scop.)  – Roots Cut
  • Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) – Flowers Cut
  • Ginkgo (Ginkgo Biloba) – Leaves Cut
  • Hawthorn  (Crataegus oxyacantha L.)- Leaves and Flowers Cut
  • Mint (Mentha x piperita L.) – Leaves Cut

Why we chose these ingredients

  • Orange has digestive functions.
  • Rhodiola rosea promotes a balanced mood and has tonic-adaptogenic properties against physical and mental tiredness, facilitating the response of the body and mind to stressful situations.
  • Chamomile promotes relaxation and mental well-being, it also has soothing actions on the digestive system.
  • Ginkgo has antioxidant properties and acts on memory and cognitive functions.
  • Hawthorn nurtures regularity to the cardiovascular system and blood pressure, it also promotes relaxation and mental well-being.
  • Mint has digestive actions and ensures the functionality of the upper respiratory tract.

Some warnings concerning ginkgo: if you are taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors, consult your doctor before taking the product. The use of the product during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

Examining aromas and taste, QuieTea has strong sweet and floral notes of chamomile and hawthorn, with a hint of rose from rhodiola. The result is fresh and delicate in scent and sweet in taste but at the same time rounded off by the more bitter notes of the orange.
