Popcorn + Remedium Herbal Tea No. 6 – Relaxation
Not just to take to the movies! The zero-waste recipe that reinvents a classic snack in minutes
This recipe could turn your next appetizer. But it’s perfect for so many other occasions such as birthdays, picnics, a quiet snack at home to spend on the couch in front of your favorite series or, why not, as a savory dessert to close a dinner with friends and girlfriends amid much chatter.

Ingredients
- 1 bustina di Remedium n.6 – Relax (già utilizzata)
- 3 tablespoons of popcorn
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- salt to taste

Proceedings
- Heat olive oil over medium low heat in a saucepan. The oil should coat its bottom with a thin layer.
- When the oil is hot, steep the herbal tea in the oil. To do this, we recommend that you slowly swirl the herbal tea bag in the bottom of the pot, keeping the string and paper label out of the oil.
- Turn down the flame and let it steep for about 10 minutes on low heat, swirling the sachet occasionally for better extraction. You’ll know it’s doing the trick when the aroma of the herbs wafts throughout the kitchen.
- After about 10 minutes, remove the sachet and squeeze out as much of the oil as possible by mashing it into the pot with a fork. Be careful because it will be hot! And don’t throw away the sachet yet; we will need it later for another step.
- Increase the heat to medium, then add the popcorn kernels with a pinch of salt and cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid. Gently shake the pot in a rolling motion to make sure all the beans are coated with oil.
- In a few moments you will begin to hear the popcorn popping.
- As the popcorn pops, take the Relax bag and open it. Remove the juniper berries and any other herbs that you feel are too large or tough and chop what is left finely.
- When the crackling becomes slower, remove the pot from the heat. Let the last bursts finish and then carefully open the lid.
- Pour freshly popped popcorn into a large bowl and add chopped herbs and salt to taste. Shake them well to get them all flavored and enjoy them with your favorite iced herbal tea!
