Genesis House and Wilden: a mountain-flavored herbal tea

We had the honor of participating in the Casa Genesis event, a project born in 2021 in the Ampezzo Dolomites with a very specific mission: to raise awareness of sustainability among as many people as possible.

On the occasion of the third edition held in September, Aria herbal tea was born: an infusion suitable for arousing delicacy, warmth, oxygen and indelible memories.

The reality of Genesis House

Casa Genesis was born from the synergistic strength of Ludovica Rubbini and chef Riccardo Gaspari, owners of the starred restaurant SanBrite in Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL). It is a reality that recently decided to take place continuously throughout the year, organizing a series of events that follow the changing seasons to get in touch with nature.

It thus becomes a place of research and development, where to share the idea of Sustainability by placing man as the fifth natural element, offering the possibility to fully enjoy the experience through a step-by-step path, discovering the benefits of a unique and regenerating place like the Dolomites.

In September we were invited to spend a weekend together, finding ourselves overwhelmed by the wonder of the places and their care for the beautiful, the good and the shared. For the occasion, we wanted to create something as unique as this experience was: from the union of 7 ingredients came Aria, an herbal tea with a clean, enveloping taste like a caress, designed to warm the body and spirit.

When we started thinking about the infusion for Genesis, we had never been to either Cortina or SanBrite. We were inspired by our idea of wellness and fresh mountain air, having in mind the creation of a relaxing and meditative infusion that would come as close as possible to the deep feeling of our soul in contact with an evocative landscape such as the Dolomites.

Aria is a walk in the woods, a deep breath; it is designed to accompany aperitifs, cakes or as a reflective moment at the end of a meal that allows you to let go of listening to the passage of the seasons. We also thought of it as the perfect flavoring in the kitchen, for hot broths, custards or fragrant yeast products.

What does Aria consist of?

• From the aromatic and mentholated notes of mountain thyme;
• From the sweetness, the hint of flowers and night of linden leaves and flowers;
• Fromnettle, digestive, slightly bitter;
• From the woodruff, between hay and almond, magical and stellar plant;
• From the balsamic of juniper berries;
• From dehydrated apple to round out and clean aftertaste.

A time of sharing

Participating in the Genesis House project made us feel part of something special.

Not only did we share a piece of our world with inspiring people, but we returned home full of moments to cherish in our hearts.

We were given a feeling of peace by a concert of string instruments at the foot of the mountain by the Perosi Academy Symphony Orchestra, and we embraced an energizing morning awakening by Johanna Maggy, a Pilates teacher and holistic coach, and by the enveloping scent of breakfast prepared by Aurora Zancanaro at her Microbakery Le Polveri in Milan.

We returned home with a full heart and the nostalgia that only good things leave you with, wanting to relive it all over again.
