In search of a new taste. Introducing our Remedium No. 7 – Detox
Wilden.herbals ' Remedia Line welcomes a new recipe: it's the purifying herbal tea that was missing from our menu
Don’t let the number fool you, with this innovation our Remedia line now consists of 8 herbal teas (the very first is number 0 – Morning). Eight is a number said to be associated with cosmic balance. Our eighth recipe could only be born to help us regain our daily balance.

How Remedium No. 7 was born – Detox
Detox is the youngest of our Remedia. We began to fantasize about his recipe with the return of sunny days in the early months of last spring, when, during lockdown, we were housebound and daydreaming about the wild places we carry in our hearts.
The real time when we perfected ingredients and dosages came later, however, once our team could get together for a summer team-building period that we wanted to spend away from the city. Immersed in the nature of Abruzzo, in Pettorano sul Gizio, tasting after tasting and filing after filing, we finally achieved the flavor we were looking for.
Who Remedium No. 7 – Detox is for: our usage tips
We must admit that this was the most difficult recipe to achieve.
Because we wanted it to have just that right balance where the taste of bitterness, though pronounced, reaches a point that is appreciable for everyone.
Of course, in contrast, it would have been easier with sweet: the sweet taste is what we seek most as children, but as the palate grows older it becomes more refined and needs to find more layered nuances, including a balance with the other four flavors defined as fundamental.
For our Remedium No. 7 – Detox we did not stop testing and correcting until we found the exact blend we had in mind, harmonious with balsamic, slightly acidic and astringent notes, where you can find a hint of sweetness of woodruff and the pungent but delicate notes of fenugreek and nettle.
If the properties remind you of our Remedium No. 4 – Hangover you are absolutely right, Detox also has soothing, relaxing, and purifying effects. It is the ingredients, however, that make the difference. If in Hangover we find the more classic lemon and fennel, which with chamomile help regain physical and mental serenity, in Detox we have artichoke and thistle, two ingredients historically associated with cleansing properties.
Inside Remedium no. 7 – Detox: plants and combinations.
And while we are on the subject of ingredients, the time has come to list all those that make up our Remedium No. 7 – Detox: helichrysum, ginger, artichoke, woodruff, fenugreek, milk thistle, horsetail and nettle.
For this recipe we wanted to explore new boundaries, in fact among the eight elements listed above we had already used only two for our previous recipes, the other six are new to us as well.
When and how to use our detox herbal tea? We recommend it especially in the morning, when waking up, and then throughout the day. It can also accompany you during meals or, why not, right after, especially after a large meal-for example, during the holidays it can be the panacea you’ve been looking for when, as per tradition, you get together with your loved ones and feast as you rarely did during the year.
