Cold herbal tea recipe – Remedium n. 3 – Digestive

Summer? It’s the season of cold herbal teas. Not a month goes by without us at Wilden.herbals doing experimentation and research: recently we happened to do several tests with water at different temperatures and different levels of infusion for cold herbal teas (if you’re curious to learn more, read our article dedicated to this topic). By the way, did you know that flavored water is a cold infusion that lasts at least 6 hours? But it’s from 12 to 24 hours that the real magic happens for a real explosion of aromas and taste.
Cold herbal tea: live lightly with Remedium n. 3 – Digestive
We cannot make preferences but the recipe for cold herbal tea with Remedium n. 3 – Digestive is among our favorites! Maybe it’s for those very fresh notes of lemon, mint and ginger that harmoniously embrace licorice and rosemary. Or maybe because in our Remedium n. 3 – Digestive you will find that sweet and delicate aroma of sage, fennel and lemon balm which, together with the other ingredients, promote digestion after every meal.
How to prepare a cold herbal tea: the recipe for our Remedium n. 3 – Digestive
Non esiste un solo modo per preparare una tisana fredda, bensì ben 3. Scegli quello che fa per te e sperimenta come abbiamo fatto noi:
Recipe with a hot infusion which is then cooled:
- mix 50 ml of hot water at 95 ° for the infusion with another 200 ml of cold water after 7 minutes of hot infusion;
- it’s ready to drink after 20/30 minutes of infusion up to 2 hours;
- keep it in the fridge, without a filter for max. 2/3 days.
Recipe with a cold infusion using water at room temperature:
- use 250 ml of water at room temperature;
- it’s ready to drink after 6/8 hours of infusion;
- keep it in the fridge after 30 minutes of infusion, without the filter for max. 2/3 days.
Recipe with a cold infusion using cold water:
- use 250 ml of still water at 4-6°;
- it’s ready to drink after 6/8 hours of infusion;
- store in fridge for up to 2 days with the filter.
Our gastronomic advice: if you particularly love the notes of licorice, leave it to infuse in cold water or at room temperature for more than 8 hours. And if you are a fan of the herbal tea + fruit combo, then follow this recipe!
