A line that pays attention to its impact on the environment<\/h2>\n\n

Despite our virtuous choices, carbon emissions are inevitable, and we found that there was still much we could do. We then turned to ClimatePartner<\/a>, a company with more than 15 years of experience, which pointed us toward a new way to stay true to our commitment to the environment. That is, measuring, reducing and offsetting our carbon footprint<\/strong> so that we could achieve a zero-sum balance. <\/p>\n\n

ClimatePartner projects we support<\/h2>\n\n

The projects we chose in collaboration with Climate Partner are two. Yes, because in addition to a project that offsets emissions by installing solar photovoltaic modules in India<\/a>, we also wanted to do something for nature on the local area<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

India’s climate protection project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In three Indian federal states (Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnata) it helps to replace electricity generated by thermal power plants or fossil fuels with solar photovoltaic modules,<\/strong> but not only that, it also has positive effects on the local economy, creating jobs to build and operate the plant.<\/p>\n\n

The result? An estimated 329,720 tons of CO2 reduced per year!<\/p>\n

The local engagement project in the Campo dei Fiori Park (VA)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The redevelopment of the damaged area near Sacro Monte di Varese as a result of the effects of climate change in autumn 2020. The project includes cleaning up the uprooted trees and preparing for new planting<\/strong>, carefully choosing the most suitable tree species that will be able to improve the natural habitat and biodiversity. <\/p>\n\n

This is a project that we particularly care about because we like to think that we can help a place so close to our operational headquarters in Milan.<\/p>\n
