Traditional Japanese tea cup. (In Japan, tea is normally served around 65°C to enjoy all its scents at best – reason why a handle is not necessary)
Thrown at the potter’s wheel using French brown/white Spanish stoneware, coated in white satin glaze. Semi-refractory mixtures with consistent grog content, fired at 1260°C, allow minimal porosity and provide excellent strength; glaze made only of ingredients from European and conscious sources and is certified food safe.
Dishwasher safe.
